STEPS
TOOLS
Start with a basic neutral color palette for a more adult look. To make this your own, build off of a neutral palette with your own style.
Bright colors and differentiating textures really help make your space unique
Pick up that same color palette in other areas of your room. I find that using a bright color instead of a neutral color with curtains really brightens the room.
Empty spaces are just waiting for your creativity! These homemade garlands draw your eyes up and make the room seem bigger!
Keep nightstands clean and polished. They frame your bed so keep the mess to the desk.
I have condensed the clutter to my desk! I use mason jars and random glass pieces to organize pencils and other office supplies.
Same with jewelry! Especially for jewelry pack rats like myself, having mine organized makes it so much easier to find something I need!
For the wall with your headboard, I recommend one large piece of art and that's it. Especially if your walls are white this really becomes the focal point of the room
Last but not least, keep bookshelves for books! Nothing looks more wacko then a bookshelf with no books! Geez our generation!
Hope this helps! Let me know if you want to see more!
