You can use any yarn you like, whatever colour, size and ... just anything

Wrap the yarn around 3 or 2 fingers, depending on the size you want. No need to tie it or anything, just start wrapping

Make sure it's nice and spread out, so there's not big huge lump in the middle

Wrap about 80-100 times

Carefully slip it off your finger

And cut the end

Then cut a piece of string about 30cms depending on whether u want a tail

Lay the coiled up yarn near the end of the piece

Tie a lose knot across the middle of the coil

Turn it around, look all over it, make sure it's in the middle, and tie it very tightly with a double knot

Insert scissor into the loops and start cutting

Cut all of the loops, DO NOT pull any of the loops or cut ends

It will look like this :)

U can keep the tail if you want, it's useful for tying to stuff, hanging it and hold it.

Now I suggest you to get a piece of paper so you can catch all the rubbish making it easier to clean up later. The blue stuff was from the one I made before
