Don't let the number of steps scare you, This is a cute and quick bracelet that can be dressed up or down and is a great gift. It takes about 10 minutes to make.

The type of ribbon and beads you use effect the length/amount of supply and final product. Here I'm using 3/8in ribbon and size 11 seed beads.
Though it will vary as mentioned, I began with 3ft of ribbon, 1 1/2ft thread (after threading needle) and about 30 beads. This resulted several times in a 4in bracelet with two 5in ties.

At about 8in, insert your needle through your ribbon. Use as thin of a needle as possible, this one is far too thick but you couldn't see my other one well in the pictures.

**Don't pull the needle through all the way** Reinsert the needle about a millimeter down, going towards the long end.

Put a bead on the needle tip. **trust me about pulling it through, I made this mistake even though I knew better and it's much harder.**

The picture shows what'll happen if you do pull it through. If you we're smarter than me, fold the ribbon over the bead and into the needle.

Then fold it over again. The size of you 'ruffle' depends on you and your beads. Obviously larger ruffles will need more ribbon.

Without pulling the needle through, add another bead.

Then a ruffle, you're basically just accordion folding. Bead, ruffle, bead, ruffle etc.

You can make the ruffles uniform or different sizes.

When the meddle is full just let it fall off the back end and keep going.

When you reach your desired length, fold the ribbon up, but don't ruffle.

Now pull the needle all the way through, make it tight, then insert your needle back through, you're going to go through all the beads again for strength.

When you reach the first bead again, go through the ribbon and back in, pull it all snug.

Wrap the thread around the needle tip 3 times.

Hold the thread wrap firmly but gently.

Pull the needle through creating a knot close to the bead. Tie it again if you'd like and trim off. Tie a knot in the ribbon close to the bass on both ends.

Tie knots about 5in (or desired length) down the ribbon.

Here's my little girl modeling it.

And here are some on me. Just tie them on and your good to go.

A few more examples. These make cute gifts. Thanks for viewing, if you have any thoughts or questions please comment! :)
