STEPS
TOOLS
Gather your supplies
Cast on 32 sts and purl the first row
This is a pattern I chose. You can make any pattern you like.
This is how it looks
For my pattern: after you purl the first row, Row 1: purl 2, knit 4, *the entire row* Row 2: knit 2, purl 4, *the entire row* Repeat row 1&2 for 20 cm
After 20cm, purl 3 rows, then start again your pattern. This will be your back
After 20cm, knit 4 rows. Then start again your pattern. This will start your cover
I wanted to make my top cover fluffy, because it looks cuter. Go with your design for another 20cm
After you finish your 20cm, knit 3rows and start your pattern again for another 20 cm. then end your work
Fold the edges to the middle and sew the margins
It should look like pockets
Cut your cardboard 21x16cm
Slide the cardboard cuts into the pockets
Also at the top
And sew them inside. You can also leave them open, so you can take them out and wash the cover.
This is how it looks after I sew them
Cut small strips of elastic and sew them to your corners.
You can add a hook at the top of your work to keep the case closed.
And this is the final product. I hope you enjoy! 🌺
