How to wind yarn into a ball

Pull end of yarn out of center of skein or untangle the mess of yarn you may have in your basket. 😉

Start with end secured between your thumb and palm.

Loosely wind around your four fingers.

Slide off fingers and pinch in center.

Wrap yarn around the center going the opposite direction.

Keep winding, alternating directions.

Ta da! Keep yarn in basket while knitting/crocheting to keep yarn from rolling away.
