Get to the beach!
Look for whole sand dollars...
Wash them off in big container
Fill with one gallon warm water
Add 1C bleach
Caution: If you leave them in bleach too long, the sand dollars will yellow. Once bleached, the sand dollars are more fragile and are more breakable.
Let soak 30 minutes
Rinse and lay out to dry. If its sunny-- leave outside for 24 hours.
They might have edges from being tossed about but they are worn smooth & all 81 are whole! Kind of like people... Such a great reminder of my time away! Thank you Poppa!
