First I layered the wool on my form and put the hose around it. (See part 1) This pic is the first glimpse after being in the dryer with a pair of sneakers on the hottest setting for 20 minutes.
The fibers are messed and I can remove it from the form.
This photo shows how I peeled the vessel off the form.
The vessel has been felted, but not yet fulled.
I had put the vessel in a lingerie bag and put it, the pair of sneakers, a tiny bit of detergent on the hottest setting for 30 minutes and then rinsed it for 20 minutes. This is the fulling.
I molded the damp wool
And molded it
It is now structurally strong and keeps its form.
I kept molding it.
Almost there
I burnished it, and molded it, and stretched it into the shape I wanted.
