How to watercolor with stencils

Get your project set up. I used three shade of Distress Ink with my Crafter's Workshop Stencil.

Pounce the ink pads on the stencil in an ombre fashion. Then spritz the stencil with water (mini mister is perfect for this). You don't want heavy water.

Flip stencil over on the watercolor paper and use a paper towel to press the stencil gently onto the paper.

Let it dry. I used my heat gun to speed up the process.

Then finish embellishing your card!
