This one works well for those traveling on a budget.
Visit www.vpnoneclick.com. If you have an IPhone or IPad you can download the app it's free. This also definitely works with Android OS.
It will give you a 7 day free trial to try with a charge of only $9.99 a year with unlimited quota if purchased. Of course tech savvy can set up a VPN from their own Internet before leaving not I.
It will prompt you that settings will be adjusted (nothing noticeable or major) then click agree and in a moment it's all ready to test.
Next go into your Settings and select VPN as you will need to turn it on each time you want data to stream through the VPN network.
*not VPN 1 Click screen shown but similar. You will see a screen like this next with the option to turn VPN on and access which VPN is appropriate.
The actual 1 Click screen will populate with 2 choices for many different countries including USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc. L2PT is encrypted try for this one first always. Once picked slide to on.
It will Start, Connect, Authenticate, then go online within seconds and you are ready to watch your favorite shows and movies from wherever your home is through the website and/or app.
Note that Netflix was only available in USA and Canada. Nice to find out going through Canada VPN automatically populates your Netflix app with Canadian queues using your original log in info.
Now you can load your apps such as Xfinity, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Hulu, Netflix or go online to stream movies and TV shows on demand.
*note that you do not need 3G or 4G to have smooth streaming. I used my IPad and IPhone with WiFi only (turned cell and data off for travel) and never had a problem at any hostel with connectivity.
