Fold the transparency in half long wise and write your name on the fold line using a script font in oil pastel.

Fold the transparency back in half and rub the lettering so that it transfers to the other side.

If you can't see the imprint, try going over the name again and/or rub the lettering again.

Trace the lettering with the oil pastel so that both sides are dark.

If you have letters that go across the midpoint, you will have overlapping letters. That is okay!

Decide which is going to be the "head" of the insect, and add eyes! Color in the openings with various colors. Be creative!

Take another piece of construction paper and make a frame and place the transparency oil pastel FACE DOWN onto the paper. Tape to the construction paper.
