How to use your iphone to control your apple tv

Make sure your Apple TV and iPhone are on the same wifi network.

Go to Settings in your Apple TV

Then click Computers

Then Turn on Home Sharing

Sign in with your Apple ID and password

Home sharing is now on

On your iphone go to the App Store and download The App named Remote

Click turn on home sharing and sign in with your Apple ID and password

From your iphone select your Apple TV to control it

You can now use your iphone as a touchpad to control your Apple TV

Searching is so much easier now as you can use your iPhones keyboard to search
