Go to settings and open up general
Scroll all the way down to accessibility
And all the way down again to assistive touch
Open that up and turn it on! A new icon will be displayed that allows you to do just about anything from it!
The button doesn't show in the screen shot because it is designed not to be seen so it hides itself. From that you can press the home button and screen shot (the two main features).
