How to use the passbook app for iphone

Tap the "Passbook" App on your homescreen.

You will be greeted with a brief description of what Passbook does. Tap "App Store"

You will be taken to the App Store with a special section dedicated to Apps that can use Passbook. For this example, let's download the Target app.

Please note, the app downloads to your home screen. They don't go into the Passbook app.

Note: Each App can have a unique interaction with Passbook. The Target app can be used to add coupons to Passbook.

Some Apps may require you to sign up for services.

Registration done!

With Target, they will show you the coupon with a barcode. Scroll down until you see "add to passbook"

Open Passbook, an voila! There is your mobile coupon, ready to be scanned by the cashier!

Once your finished with a coupon, delete it!

There are plenty of Apps that use Passbook in a unique way. For example, Walgreens allows you to hold your Walgreens loyalty card in Passbook. Go exploring and enjoy using Passbook!
