How to use "new" ios 6.1.2 keyboard on iphone

Apple just released IOS 6.1.2 As of yesterday Apple only slightly modifies the keyboard in its first-party apps: it will look like screen shots I supply from iPhone 5. iPads will look a bit different.

In Mail, it replaces the spacebar with a smaller space bar and dedicated "@" and period keys when typing an email address.

In Mail you can see by Tapping on this image to see new IOS keyboard, notice smaller space bar and addition of @ and period (.) mark .

In Safari, it replaces the spacebar with period, slash and ".com" keys when you're typing into the address bar field. But at the expense of the microphone/Siri button

In Safari when typing in the address bar you get a new keyboard . Tap on this image to enlarge image to see the changes. You get on bottom period / and .com buttons and space bar is eliminated .

If I figure anything else out I will share on Snapguide. This update was to repair a calendar function that was draining iPhone 5 battery life. The keyboard looks a little different on iPads.
