How to use easy bib to cite your sources

Log into Easybib.com using you lacklandisd.org gmail account. You can use this QR code or go to EasyBib.com.

Create a new project!

Select bibliography to get started with your first entry. You will put all of the information for citing your sources and your notes from each source into EasyBib.

This is the citation for a website. Just paste the address (URL) into the search box and it will fill out the citation form for you. be sure to check the information for errors.

Some websites have been evaluated. This can indicate if the source is reliable. Don't believe everything you see online!

This is the method you use to add a citation that is provided in an article from an encyclopedia or from a database. Just copy the citation and paste.

Create your citation!

You will keep all of your notes in the "add annotation" section of EasyBib.

Read, then add what you learn in your own words. Just because you site your source DOESN"T mean you can copy and paste!! Copy and pasting is plagiarism. Plagiarism results in a big fat ZERO!

When you have finished your bibliography and have written your notes, you can export your finished bibliography.

It is best if you save it to Google Drive. It will be there when you need to turn it in and you can edit it if you need to.

When you save it to Google Drive you will need to grant access. (select allow access)

You can view your bibliography by selecting "Go to Google Docs"
