This is the old ottoman I will be covering, I used 3metres of material for this one

Lay the material over the area you are covering, I started with the lid. If you iron the material before hand it will not look wrinkled like this!

Smooth the material making sure it is not loose before folding under the lid and stapling.

Fold material in making corners neat when completed start next section

Lay material over next area stapling at top under the lid an pull tight under the the ottoman and staple

Cut away excess fabric from base of ottoman

On final section hold fabric with design facing away from you

Staple down this section

You now bring fabric round the correct way and staples remain hidden

Pull fabric tight so it doesn't sag until meets opposite side and the old material can no longer be seen, secure again by stapling

DONE!! I recommend ironing the material first for a better finish
