Gather supplies together for your project.  You'll need some embossing powder, versa mark ink, ribbon, fussy cut images from Graphic 45, metal butterflies, moss, egg and of course a spoon.

Spot hit the versa mark ink on the spoon and sprinkle with embossing powder.  Heat set the powder.

Choose a contrasting color and do the same .  I picked an aqua and spring green colors and they compliment each other well.

Dry emboss in a deep embossing folder a pair of Graphic 45 metal butterflies.

Treat with the embossing powders to finish off for a great texture.

Add the butterflies to the back of the spoon using some craft metal wire.

Glue down some moss and a egg to the bowl of the spoon.

Fussy cut various images from the Deluxe Once Upon a Springtime collection from Graphic 45.  These images are perfect for this spring themed spoon.  Glue down along the spoon.

Add the final touches with ribbon and some transparent glitter to the wings of the fairies, flowers and butterflies.

Here is the completed spoon.  Super easy but such a great statement piece.

I love the top of the spoon with the embossing colors peaking through.  So rustic chic...Love it.
