How to transplant basil

Mix potting soil with water until moist and get rid of clumps (not to much water)

Fill the pot to the top with potting soil

Make a spot for the seedling in the center of the soil about 1/2 an inch deep

Choose a seedling that has at least one set of true leaves

Carefully uproot the seedling without breaking the roots

Gently separate each plant from the others

Gently separate soil from roots

Place seedling in pot

Cover seedling with potting soil don't compact the soil so tight

Basil cannot be in direct sunlight
