How to transplant a plant

Pick the plant you want to transplant and find a sunny spot to put it in.

If you recently bought the plant take it out of its container.

Some plants are very root bounded so separate them a bit.

Dig a hole.

Put the plant in the hole, cover it with dirt and label it so you remember what it is.

Trim the lower leaves because otherwise it could get too shrubby.
