Image you're in a country and you can't read their language. So you can't read the street signs, bill boards, menus, warning signs, etc… Here's an app that could be helpful in this situation.
The app is called Word Lens. The app itself is free and comes with two demo functions. But you'd have to purchase the language you'll want to translate from.
One of the demos is turning words backwards. For example this duck crossing sign turns into...

It would be very helpful in reading warning signs.
Even read newspapers. Books and menus.

The other demo that comes with it simply erases words.
The languages are $5 each. Seems pricy but I think it would be worth it if I ever visit any of these places. I hope they will add more languages.
