Have the loop on one side and the two ends on the other

Twist the loop

Twist the loop

Put one end through the loop (so it comes out the front)

Put one end through the loop (so it comes out the front)

Twist again

Twist again

Put the second end through the loop

Put the second end through the loop

Tuck the ends up through the braid and there you have it!
