How to tidy your room quickly and easily

I find it helps to put on some music before you start

Let's begin with your wardrobe

Move everything to one side, and put them into catagories. I have tops, then bottoms, the jackets then dresses. Also you can sort other things into boxes like I have at the bottom.

That is the wardrobe done

Now onto my drawers

I moved my spray onto a shelf with other things like it

I have post its and I put them on my homework shelf (sorry for people who don't go to school) but I feel a homework shelf is good if you have paper work as well

I have nail stuff

I put it with the rest of the stuff like it

I have my handbag

I put it under my bed

Now onto the chair

I put all the dirty washing in to a basket, to be moved out the way later

I have coats on it

A bag

A jumper and a skirt

...which I put in its rightful place in the drawers. It's good if you sort out the drawers into different uses. I have t-shirts on top, bottoms in the middle and shoes on the bottom

I have hung my coat on the back of the door with my dressing gown

And the other goes in the wardrobe

Now onto the bedside cabinet/table

I have lots of makeup on it

Which I put in my makeup box

And bracelets

Which I put on my jewellery stand

A tissue box

Just neaten it up

And straighten every thing. I have kept the other objects there as I use them often

Now the bed

I have the hairbrush

And I put it on my makeup shelf

Remove all your pillows first

Onto the duvet

Straighten it out first. Make sure the buttons are at the bottom

If it is too wide for the bed (like mine) then tuck it in to the side

Here is the duvet done

Now add the first set of pillows. As I don't have a headboard, I use matching pillows as one for an accessory

Put on pillows as more accessories and comfort

And a main squishy pillow for your head

I have lots of stray items on the floor

Get the wash basket

Put it somewhere out the way

I have a pad on the floor

I put it on my homework shelf

If you have any shoes on the floor...

Put them in their rightful place. I have a drawer just for shoes

I have a drawing

And I put it in the wardrobe as I have spare room

Now the windowsill

I have a box with a little bit of makeup in

And I put all my nail polishes in it

Here is it without the nail polishes

I moved the frame to its place to spread it all out

And I put my scissors on my homework shelf

And the box into another box with plenty of space

Now onto the shelves. I will show one but hopefully it will show you how to do the rest also

Start with boxes at the back and rest small objects on them. Then in front of them put larger bottles or tins or jars in front of the boxes

Then fill the gaps and put smaller things in front

Finally the wires, (very dangerous if in contact with liquid)

Tuck them away or take them out the plug and into a box or drawer

I have a book

And I put that also on the homework shelf
