My daughter-in-law planned the perfect party for a 2 yr old. Everyone was told to wear western clothes and bandanas were party favors. Gifts were left in a wheel barrel and signage greeted guests.
The adorable cake was made by a cousin. Notice the pumpkin patch and pigs in the mud?
The petting farm was the main costs but they brought the animals with food so the children could feed them. Most of the children were two to four years old and they loved this.
The signage was done on a plotter at work so there was no costs but It added a special touch. Now you can purchase banners at Walgreens and Walmart in an hour. I recommend Walmart for best color.
The food was simple: hot dogs and chips.
The cupcakes were also made by a cousin and not a store. Again adorable.
There were goats, cows, pigs and many more for the kids to feed and pet.
Decorations were kept simple but sweet.
Hay bales and a storage barn made a great photo op.
The birthday girl loved her party and was stylin' in her western wear.
The drinks were kept in the duck pond. This was a baby pool filled with ice, rubber ducks from Oriental Trading Company... Oh and drinks, of course.
I forgot to mention, the birthday girl's last name is MacDonald, hence the theme.
