Cut a piece of yarn a little over 36 inches in length. Tape it to the back of the plate and push it into notch 1.

Bring the yarn behind the plate and up through notch 7.

Now take the yarn across the plate to notch 13.

Flip your paper plate loom over. Bring your yarn across the center.

Tie a simple knot where all the yarn crosses in the center. Now we can began to weave. These threads form the warp of our radial loom.
