How to thread a needle for hand sewing leather

Cutting the thread on an angle helps to push it through

Pull thread through

Pierce thread

Pull the thread back through

This will form the knot that fixes it in place

Twist it

And with some pressure and more twisting, you are ready. Do the same for the other end of the thread.
