Step 2: Slowly enter the water in the shallow end of the pool, where your can comfortably stand or hold onto the wall of the pool.

Step 4: Get comfortable going underwater in the pool. Hold your breath and exhale through your nose to prevent water from getting in your nose. Goggles let your eyes see the air bubbles you blow.

Step 5: Now that you are comfortable with the water practice simple freestyle strokes. Reach with your arm to grab the water and pull it back. Don't forget to keep kicking.
