First, get a digital point-and-shoot camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix S8100, which sounds fancy but it's not (: Make sure it has a good zoom, good image quality, and a macro setting! Read reviews!

Turn your camera on, put it on "AUTO" mode, and turn on the macro setting! This is typically a button symbolise by a flower. Mine is the button between the menu and delete buttons. See the flower?

Go outside! Find some flowers or other scenes you want to take pictures of. I like my backyard garden, personally. It should be a bright sunny day for optimal pics.

When you find a subject, get reallyyy close to it, and press down halfway on the camera button. This activates macro mode. Press down further on the button and take the picture! Don't zoom- it blurs.

Create a Google+ account and load your pictures to it. Click on your best pictures and choose "edit" at the top. Explore all editing functions!

Increase contrast, sharpness, color saturation, and color temperature. Crop the photo. Even a few changes make a BIG difference.

Take lots and lots of pictures and edit, edit, edit! Delete any pictures that can't be fixed up. Try not to make it too fake looking, "Natural" is key.

This is an example of what not to do. The composition is at a weird angle and your shadow is blocking the color and light! Also, you're too far away.

This is also bad. Don't use flash when taking pictures outside- it gives them a weird effect and creates too much shadow and contrast.
