First, heat your pan on medium-high. Then put about a table spoon of butter so it starts to melt.
While the butter is melting, cut the sweet potato into then circular slices.
Once finished cutting, put them in the pan.
Stir them around a little and let them sit for about five minutes.
Then put one more tablespoon of butter in and stir again.
Next add some brown sugar so it can caramelize to the potato.
Then squirt some agave nectar and let them soak in that.
They will start to caramelize and turn to dark orange once they are soft.
Once they are dark, take them off the pan.
