How to stud your shoes

An extremely simple way to refresh a pair of shoes. Studs aren't even that expensive, you can 50 of them for a dollar on eBay!

This is a super easy how-to, just as a note, if you wear the shoes when it's wet, coat your studs w/ clear nail polish beforehand to prevent rust. Hope this is a helpful tutorial(:

Supplies used. I studded a pair of wedges from a garage sale. I recommend practicing before you stud the shoes because removing and restudding is a difficult process.

Press the stud against the strap to make an indentation, use the Xacto knife to create slits, insert the studs and push back the prongs. Continue the process until you have studded as much as desired.

Make sure the studs are completely attached, use either your nails/a butter knife to push the prongs back. The prongs are super sharp, so be careful.
