If you live in an area where king prawns are not easy to get, you may go head-over-heels when suddenly you come across them in the market.
Then what do you do with them? If you want to taste just pure prawns, steaming is the way to go. Start with piercing prawns this way. It'll keep the prawns from curling whilst streaming.

Pour egg white. If you want the egg white to be soft, add it only after 3/4 time of steaming.
Make sure a platform to hold your plate is placed in the wok. Then get water in your wok to a rolling boil.
Place the prawn plate on the steamer platform. If you don't have a steamer platform, use an inverted bowl as one.
Cover completely to steam for 12 minutes - no peeking please.
12 minutes later.
There you have it. Place on serving dish and enjoy them on their own...
