once you have your account click on the the settings icon in the top right hand corner scroll down a little bit you should private account and a swipe button swipe that button so it turns blue
Once that is done your account is now private which mean if someone request to follow you ,you can either accepted or reject it.
Don't inculde things like your phone number ,school and email address information like that.
If anyone messages you that the don't know delete it by by slowy swiping left and a opition should come up.
