Maybe it's school, work, or something else entirely, but it's easy to start thinking negatively. Here are some helpful tips to make your day a little brighter.

Write a list. Make a list of things your good at, things you're proud of. It can be anything. Flipping back through the list will remind you of your accomplishments.

Post inspirational quotes and posters on places like your fridge, your backpack or purse, a mirror, anything really. It's a nice reminder for you to stay positive.

Go for a run, and if you can't run, walk! Exercise releases the "feel good" endorphins in our bodies, which will help in boosting your mood.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful. Stop thinking the negative thoughts and replace them with good ones, even if they feel fake right now.

Another idea is to fill a jar with slips of paper, and every day write one good thing that happened to you. It might be as small as the temperature being perfect; it doesn't matter.

Think of it this way; you control your own emotions, but you also impact those around you. Keeping your positive attitude might just make someone else's day!
I hope this helps :) This is advice I've given to my friends when they're feeling down, so I thought I would share with all of you as well.

I'm quiet, but that's how I learn so much. Taking a step back gives you a whole new view to everything.
