STEPS
TOOLS

1. Get organized → Before you tackle exam week, be sure to organize any binders or notes you may have from the semester so they’re easy to find and study from

2. Plan out a schedule → Instead of going with the flow, plan out the week so you can easily manage your study time

3. Make study guides → Study guides help you look over all your information and put it into one place. After completing study guides be sure to actually study them.

4. Form study groups → Two heads are always better than one right? Forming study groups is a really good way to collaborate and even help with understanding.

5. Use flashcards → Flashcards are a really easy way to study especially right before the exams

6. Take breaks → Cramming a whole semester worth of information in one night won’t make you successful on the exam, take breaks to help you retain the information. Go for a walk to help stay focused

7. Stay focused → Go to a quiet place to study and or turn on a study radio to help you focus.

8. Ask your teacher questions → Don’t be afraid to ask questions, always ask your teacher if something is unclear. If you don’t feel comfortable asking in class then you can always email your teacher

9. Dress comfortably → It’s exam week not New York fashion week so be sure to dress comfortably while taking the exam rather than feeling distracted by your outfit for a couple hours.

10. Stay calm and do your best →Take your time on and look over questions to be sure you understand, if you do not know an answer then leave it blank and come back to it later. Do not rush.
