New Jordan 11's will have the words Jumpman Jordan neatly embroidered into a band on the tongue. Check the colour of the Jumpman logo is correct for the colourway of the shoe.
There is a tag inside the tongue with the words Greatest Player Ever embroidered into it. Make sure the words are white, and check that the embroidery is high quality.
