Choose some colors of Velvets and Sorbets! Use an acrylic block which is smaller than the size of the cardstock. Use stirdy cardstock, eg Canvas paper.

Smear some paints onto the block with a palet knife. Don't try to cover it all up, and do not mix the colors intentionally. Stamp onto the cardstock; move it around a little to smoosh the color...

... and when lifting, keep on 'drawing' to the bottom and top of it by dragging some color with an edge of the acrylic block; it makes it less edgy and covers more of the cardstock.

When still wet, stamp in the paint with a script stamp, and stamp with the ink on the stamp itself onto the cardstock elsewhere; outside or partially outside the painted part. Repeat as desired.

You can also stamp the paint off the stamp on another piece of cardstock for later use! LOVELY, isn't it?

Paint some white acrylic paint over the image to make it stand out. (..leave it in the stamping tool!)

Coverage isn't needed, it's beautiful if you do this a little messy to add some depth! Don't forget to add white paint to the stem and dots. (..leave it in the stamping tool!)

I've added a little touch of yellow-green to the petals with a colored pencil to add interest. DONE.

Now for another one, with a little twist, and other colors. The twist is : misting the cardstock ánd the paint on the block with some water. It changes the way the paper takes the paints!
