How to slow roast a bolar roast

Slow Roast a Bolar Roast


Slit Roast in places and insert garlic cloves and fresh thyme. Place roast onto bed of celery. Drizzle with olive oil, salt/pepper and splash red wine all over meat. Pour in 1 cup of water to base.

Place in oven for at least 8 hours at 110 degrees Celsius!

Rest for 10 mins, then cut and enjoy

  • 1.0 2 kg Bolar roast beef
  • 1.0 Stick Celery
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Good Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Red wine
