How to shade 3d objects

Draw a circle.

Draw a curved line making it look like the moon a little bit.

Get a tissue and wrap it around your finger and rub to shade.

And there's you're 3d sphere!

You can use this to make realistic faces also but if you want to shade like a pro I recommend getting a shading/blending stump from a nearby art store.
