TOOLS
Place your material right sides together and cut a 2.5x4.5 rectangle. Pin the rectangle to the interfacing (glue side to the wrong side of one of pieces of fabric) and cut an equal sized rectangle.
Fuse the interfacing to one of the fabric rectangles by lining up the glue side of the interfacing with the wrong side of the fabric and pressing it for a 15-20 seconds, then let the material cool.
Place your two pieces of material right sides together and pin shut. Sew the two pieces together with a ½ inch seam allowance, leaving part of a long open.
Cut any excess fabric from the corners and flip inside out, you can use a pen or pencil to help form the corners.
Fold in the fabric around the opening to make it match with the shape around it. Top stitch around the edge of the ear bud holder at ¼ of an inch to close the opening and finish the edges.
Cut out two 1x1 inch squares of velcro and pin to the fabric, placing one on the outside and the other on the opposite inside so that when it’s closed it holds the earbuds in place.
