How to set up the hydrate lab.

Attach the iron ring to the ring stand.

Place the clay triangle on the iron ring.

Put the crucible on the clay triangle.

Special note: make sure the crucible is at an angle and pointed towards one of the prongs on the clay triangle.

After pouring your hydrate in the crucible, put the lid on the crucible.

Special note: make sure to leave a small gap between the crucible and the lid. Also place the lid at on one of the prongs for extra support.

Place the Bunsen burner under the iron ring. It should be between 2-3 inches from the bottom of the crucible.
