How to screenprint with an ipad and iphone
Virtual screenprinting with the iPad and a couple of free apps.

Start with a simple picture to get used to the app. So, photograph a favorite subject or use a favorite image.
Import your photo to PicShop
Tap on Filter. Select 'B&W' option. Adjust contrast to desired effect.
Here's my high contrast black and white image after adjustments.
Open Warhol app (no longer free), then tap create
Import image
Expose image
After exposing your image you'll get a negative similar to above image. Your negative will print as a positive image. Tap the 'next' button.
Here, you'll see a pale template of your image. Use it to create the underpainting upon which you'll print your negative.
After you finish the underpainting, select a color for your negative. Pull the squeegee from top to bottom then release.
Voila! you made your first digital screenprint. The app creates the dot pattern. Save (or share) & crop your new image for dramatic effect in the iPad Photo Album. Look out art world, here you come!
