You can save/transfer bookmarks by using: 1) "Export/Import " or 2) "Backup/Restore." Export/Import will ADD bookmarks when you import. Backup/Restore will REPLACE bookmarks when you restore.

1) EXPORT and IMPORT

Exporting (saving) Bookmarks from a computer...

On the Firefox menu bar, select "Show All Bookmarks."

On the Firefox menu bar, select "Show All Bookmarks."

On the window that opens, select the star icon.  Then select, "Export Bookmarks to HTML...."

On the window that opens, select the star icon. Then select, "Export Bookmarks to HTML...."

The next window wants you to select where you want to save your exported bookmarks.  Select the "Desktop." Then select the "Save" button.

Your bookmarks file will be saved on your desktop.  You can then save the file to a flash drive, DVD/CD, or even your Google Drive.

Importing bookmarks to a computer...

To import your bookmarks file to a new computer, select "Bookmarks" on the Firefox menu bar.

On the window that comes up, select the star icon.  Then you select the "Import Bookmarks from HTML..."

On the window that comes up, select the star icon. Then you select the "Import Bookmarks from HTML..."

On the next window, navigate to your file. Is it on a CD/DVD? Flash drive? Desktop? Choose that. If you downloaded from Google Drive, look in your Download file.  Then select the  "Open button."

On the next window, navigate to your file. Is it on a CD/DVD? Flash drive? Desktop? Choose that. If you downloaded from Google Drive, look in your Download file. Then select the "Open button."

That should ADD your saved Firefox bookmarks to your Firefox bookmarks on your new computer.

2) BACKUP AND RESTORE

Backing up Bookmarks from a computer...

On the Firefox menu bar, select "Show All Bookmarks."

On the window that opens, select the star icon.  Then select, "Backup...."

On the window that opens, select the star icon. Then select, "Backup...."

The next window wants you to select where you want to save you backup bookmarks.  Select the "Desktop." Then select the "Save" button.

Restoring backup files to a computer...

On the Firefox menu bar, select "Show All Bookmarks."

On the window that come up, select the star icon.  Then you select the "Restore," then "Choose File."

On the window that come up, select the star icon. Then you select the "Restore," then "Choose File."

On the next window, navigate to your file. Is it on a CD/DVD? Flash drive? Desktop? Choose that. If you downloaded from Google Drive, look in your Download file.  Then select the  "Open button."

On the next window, navigate to your file. Is it on a CD/DVD? Flash drive? Desktop? Choose that. If you downloaded from Google Drive, look in your Download file. Then select the "Open button."

That should REPLACE your Firefox bookmarks on your current computer. That's it!
