How to roast chestnuts in your oven

Chestnuts are in season! They are low in fat, high in fiber, and notable for Vitamin C. A great, healthy, easy snack for Autumn.

INGREDIENTS

preheat oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.

cut a "X" on the flat side of each chestnut while the oven heats.

Edit: spray with some water before placing in oven. I misted some water onto them and they turned out fantastic. Bake for twelve minutes.
