How to reverse a caravan

Make sure that when you're seated, facing forward, in the drivers seat of the car, and that you can just see the sides of the caravan/trailer in your towing mirrors.

Select reverse gear and lift the clutch peddle until the engine note changes. Increase the engine revs to 1000 -1500 rpm

Lift the clutch peddle a little more until the car starts to move backwards. Still looking forwards, check your towing mirrors frequently.

If the caravan appears to be more in the right hand mirror than the left one, turn the top of the steering wheel towards that mirror until the caravan/trailer returns to where it should be.

If the caravan appears to be more in the left hand mirror than the right one, turn the top of the steering wheel towards that mirror until the caravan/trailer returns to where it should be.

Remember, small movements 2-3 inches works best. Keep the engine revs steady and the vehicle moving slowly and practice.
