How to repurpose a painted canvas

Gather supplies.

Figure out a quote and use stickers to write it out on canvas. Check & Double check spelling!! (I speak from experience here!)

Paint over entire canvas with color of choice.

Paint a few layers. Let dry between layers.

Ready to remove stickers...

Carefully peel up stickers...

It was at this point that I realize I spelled the second Always wrong! What to do? I painted over the misspelled word, let paint dry, & used letters from some misc paper I had on hand to fix wording

I used pop dots to raise the second 'always', and outlined with sharpie. It gave letters a bit of dimension. Just goes to show that there is never a mistake in art. There is always a plan 'B'.
