Fill out the equipment rental form
An equipment fitter will review your form and take your money
The fitter will use the information on your form, your ability and the type of skiing to determine the length of your skis
If a measuring device is used put your heal to the back lean forward If you are only asked your shoe size make it a half size smaller
Your boot will be difficult to slide into and your toes may be close to the front but when you are skiing your foot will be in the back of the boot
The fitter will adjust the ski bindings to the sole of your boot and adjust the release or Din setting to your weight, and type of skiing
Most ski slopes keep updated ski equipment so you will not have an excuse
Ski pole are color coded per size they should be around elbow height. Some beginner lessons do not use poles
Helmet should be used trees are hard
Helmet should fit snug, front should cover your forehead. It is not recommended to wear anything under your helmet.
