How to renovate a junk shop desk

Wash down with sugar soap..use a green meanie to get dirt off

Use wire wool and sandpaper to prepare surface for paint

Paint all over with satinwood but don't waste time with areas you will later cover..you will need two coats

Watch out for drips n runs!

Use paint sparingly on second coat to stop even more runs appearing...I sanded them down and repainted at the end

With your chosen wallpaper..cut to size and Pva glue the pieces on

Once paper is dry apply a thin layer of Pva over the top of paper to give it protection

Don't forget inside the drawer! ...I added a different wallpaper cut out to the front to add interest..use Pva technique again
