If you accidentally delete a photo or video on iOS you can now recover them up to 30 days later.
When a photo or video is deleted on iOS it is added to a album called Recently Deleted. You can access this album by opening the Photos app, select the Albums tab and navigate to Recently Deleted.
The recently deleted album shows all the photos and videos you've deleted along with the number of days you have remaining to recover them. Find a photo or video you want to recover and select it.
When you are viewing a photo or video you accidentally deleted simply select the Recover option in the bottom corner of the screen.
You'll be prompted again to confirm that you really want to recover it! It's that easy.
One more thing...You can also access the Recently Deleted album from within the Camera app by tapping the Photo image preview in the bottom corner.
When you're viewing the image preview you will need to navigate to your photo albums. Tap the All Photos text in the top of the screen. Then follow everything listed here starting with step 2!
