The first step is to know what your looking up so for example if it was 2 kings 8:11 you would go to the contents page then look for 2 kings

Then you would find the first number which is the chapter. You will find that the number will stand out that's the chapter.

Then the second number is the verse. The verse number will be located at the start of the sentence in the to corner.
