Make sure it is water based paint for this, NOT grease paint. I am using some old Kryolan Aquacolor makeup that has been dried up for years! I transfer my paints into these screw together jars.
Let it sit 5 minutes or so and soak.
Beautiful! Wet enough to instantly load your brush with a single dip. Soft enough to mix your own colors with ease.
Just dip and paint! This is as wet as I let mine get...usually it's somewhere in between. But this works great to refresh your paints if they are dry & you are preparing to paint again.
The end! You can find these Kryolan paints and handy screw-together storage jars at Paintertainment.com
- Your dried up paint (water based)
- Stirring tool (I use a small screwdriver)
