Drill holes to match the position of where the circuit board was originally mounted.

I had to mount a transformer as well, use twist connectors to protect all exposed wire joints.

Before mounting the circuit board, place something underneath to protect the contacts from making a connection with the chassis. Here I used adhesive pieces of velcro.

Wiring the front panel can get messy, make sure to label everything clearly, also having a schematic on hand will help.

When you are finished wiring, consider spending some extra money on a custom faceplate, it definitely makes a difference.
